Golf Lessons & Clinics
Private and group instruction is available with PGA Head Golf Professional, Matt Cross and Assistant Golf Professional Bart Tizio. Outlined below are the various programs and clinics currently available here at Steel Club. Our team prides its self on making your learning experience here not only educating, but enjoyable.

Junior Golf Programs:
Junior Golf Clinics
Our Junior Golf Clinics are held in conjunction with the First Tee program and run on scheduled Sunday mornings throughout the season. Along with the fundamentals and different aspects of golf, the kids will learn the life experience skills and nine core values (honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy, and judgment) of the First Tee program.
Session 1: March 24, 31, April 7, 14 – 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Session 2: May 5, 12, 19, 26 – 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Each day is $10 per child; you are not required to do every day within the four-week session.

2019 Steel Club Junior Golf League
Participants will sign up individually and be placed on a team of three. We will accept teammate requests. However, all applications will be subject to age and ability in order to make the league experience fun and fair for all.
The league season will begin with a “skills and drills” day on Sunday, June 9th in which our coaches will be able to meet the players and see everyone’s ability level in order to help us pick teams. We will also use this time to have an informal parent’s meeting to discuss the league details. Team practices will start the week of July 8th and run for three weeks with Sunday games on July 14, 21, & 28.
• Each team will have a one hour team practice during the week, and a 3-5 hole game on Sunday’s throughout the league season.
• Teams will play a three person scramble and receive points on each hole based on their score.
• Sunday Tee times will start between 10:00 am – 11:00 am
• Entrance fee is $160 per player. If a household signs up more than 1 player, each will receive a $10 discount.
• Along with game and practice time, each participant will receive a golf shirt and a medal at the end of the season.
***Parents are encouraged to follow the players on game days***

2019 Junior Golf Camp
Steel Club summer Golf Camps are a great way for youngsters to spend quality time outdoors while learning the fundamentals of golf and of course having fun! Camp is open to all children between the ages of 7 to 16. We are offering four 3 day camp sessions this season running from 9 am to 12 noon. During each session campers with learn the following:
• Fundaments such as: grip, posture and alignment
• Putting and short game
• Golf rules and terminology
• Driver and Fairway play
• Fitness and other sport fundamentals

Ladies Group Practice
A popular program from 2018 is making its return - individualized instruction in a group setting. We will focus on any aspect of your game that you would like and every session will be custom tailored to you.
Each session is $10 and will be held on Friday’s from 10:30am – 12 noon.

Class & a Glass
This is a three-week program designed for a beginner or the person looking to get back into the game. A fast track to learn the basics and get you on the golf course. This first week we will cover the basics of putting and chipping, which is the basis of our full swing. Week two, we will cover chipping, pitching and full swing. The final session we will play a few holes on the golf course and use the knowledge we learned during weeks one and two and have you ready to play on your own.
This class will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm and each session will include a glass of house wine or a glass of selected draft beer. Class & a Glass is open to Men and Women with the same goal in mind, getting onto the golf course to play.

Session 2 – May 15th, May 22nd, May 29th
