Head Golf Professional
Cameron comes to Steel Club after spending the past nine years working in the New Jersey Section of the PGA. Most recently, he worked for the PGA TOUR and the TPC Network as the 1st Assistant Golf Professional at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, New Jersey. Cameron is a Class A PGA Professional and is certified in Teaching & Coaching by the PGA. Along with the PGA certifications, he has achieved Level Two certification in Golf and Power with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). TPI focuses on understanding the body and how it can have an effect on the golf swing. He is a graduate of Centenary College, where he played lacrosse.
Cameron is extremely passionate about teaching and growing the game. He has worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from Division I golfers to beginners. Cameron's teaching philosophy: “I don’t believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, I do believe that there is one efficient way for every player to swing, and it is based on what they can physically do.”
Away from work, Cameron enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburg Penguins. Cameron also enjoys traveling during his downtime with his wife, Kimberly. Growing up in Upstate New York, he spent much of his younger days playing hockey and lacrosse and grew a passion for golf from his grandfather.
